Thought I would transfer my plans for tattoos from my myspace blog to here. Enjoy.
Tattoo Plans:
L. Hand: Lotus and FATE on knuckles.
R. Hand: Spiderweb, probably a couple of rings, plus [see right arm]
L. Arm: Rampant lion on bicept, my dad's dagger and heart design on forearm and maybe full sleeve, I think I am going to have the buddhist wheel on my elbow. celtic band on forearm.
R. Arm: Well, I already have the web and WHH [grandfather's intials], dragon circling down my arm with head ending on the back of my hand plus something i'm toying with on my shoulder.
L. Chest: Plans for a really sweet heart with an arrow through it and a ribbon over the heart for a name... but it says "ME" instead, lol. That is [hopefully] getting done on valentines day. Then I don't know... there is lots of space, and more as I keep lifting, muahaha!
R. Chest: I would like to do some sort of japanese script with my sword lineage on it, like a sort of scroll design. plus I am thinking of getting SWORDSMAN put on it like a military name tape type deal.
Abdomen: no plans of yet... gotta keep doing crunches, lol.
Gonna get a cool memorial for grandpa and grandma on my right side... the lone sailor with his birth/death dates and a touching phrase and my grandmother from her wedding photo.
Back: Full back japanese style mural to Kwan Yin, buddhist goddess of mercy. I have a pic of the way I would like it done, just need to alter it to be kwan yin and perhaps the dragon on the lower half too... I do have a really big back.
Back of neck: a norse sigil for protection or the matayoshi symbol, which is really just the symbol for the emperor of japan, again a tribute to my swordsmanship. or perhaps a sitting buddha?
Neck:
left side: Sanskrit word for hope.
right side: undecided.
Butt: Have a nice day... circa The Ladies Man. [I am either kidding or I will have someone I don't like do it.]
L. Leg: undecided
R. Leg: undecided
Misc or undecided locations:
Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism - a Conch Shell, a Lotus [previously mentioned on the back of left hand], a Wheel, a Parasol (Umbrella), an Endless Knot, a pair of Golden Fishes, a Banner Proclaiming Victory, and a Treasure Vase.
